Pantry Staples
When it comes to eating well I like to make it as easy as possible and set myself up with all the tools for success! I find that I’m most inclined to actually want to cook a healthy dinner when it is convenient, quick and accessible (and delicious of course).
Below are some of my favorite pantry staples that I keep on hand. We will be using many of the below pantry items in our dishes throughout the program.

- Garbanzo Beans (chickpeas)
- Canned artichokes hearts
- Marinara sauce
- Roasted red peppers
- Olive oil
- Maple syrup
- Honey
- Vinegar (apple cider, balsamic, red wine, or white)
- Tahini
- Nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews are my fav)
- Quinoa, barley, farro, or brown rice
- Chicken broth
- Lemons
- Whole garlic cloves
- Sweet potato (they last a few weeks)
- Onions
Spices
- Curry powder
- Smoked paprika
- Garlic powder
- Dried oregano
- Dried rosemary
- Salt & Pepper
From here, I usually buy a bunch of fresh produce during the week and get creative! I always start with a veggie and then add on–grain bowls, homemade sauces, frozen fish, veggie burger, sweet potato, loaded salad with homemade dressing (to name a few).. Here are a few things I like to keep in my fridge:

- Veggies! I usually buy 4 different fresh ones that I can roast
- Shredded parmesan cheese
- Feta
- Mozzarella
- Lettuce (spinach, kale, arugula, romaine)
- Plain Greek yogurt (for sauces or with fruit/homemade granola)
- Almond milk (for smoothies)
- Eggs
- Fresh basil
- Fresh parsley
Freezer Staples
The freezer is your best friend in case you don’t want to go to the store. It’s right there, it’s healthy, and you can cook it quickly! Here’s a sneak peak into what I love to keep in both my freezer to set my busy life up for success. We won’t use all of these items in the program, but they are great items to have that will last until you need them.

- Cauliflower "rice"
- Frozen zucchini “noodles”
- Frozen cauliflower gnocchi
- Pesto (if you use it slowly. Otherwise, you can keep in fridge)
- Frozen shrimp/scallops
- Frozen cauliflower pizza crust
- Dr. Praegers Veggie Burgers
- Frozen spinach/strawberries for smoothies
