THE PATH TO THIS ITALY RETREAT…

 Adventure, connection, beauty, impact. The phrases that light me up every single time. I have hit that point in life where empty nesting is a mere months away. The business has grown and changed significantly, the picture perfect life that I thought I wanted and had seemed to evaporate overnight leaving a gaping hole that I was unsure of how to fill.

Getting up every morning and creating something, anything. I mean, eggs at times were a win, left me saying – what is this life really about and is there more?  As my heart cracked open and I saw the folks around me thriving – at least on the outside. The question for me was – what is prosperity? It certainly was not the running to please and be enough to all the people that I thought were important around me. I had to redefine what that was for me – I am not there, yet.

However, along the journey, I did find grounding, truth and passion. I found that inside of me. Inside that heart that was cracked wide open. Inside the vulnerability of sharing – just to myself, what my story was – this was too yet a story for anyone else. It is one just for me, as of now.

Connection – A core value of mine. I craved the connection and found it within me first while taking three solo trips – one to Iceland, then Seattle and then Hawai’i. I mean a volcano every January seemed like a great goal and even more fun to turn into reality. Yet, there was still a gap. I was craving the entrepreneurial connection, the exploration in a beautiful place, the ease and flow in my business and life that I once had. I also did not want to plan every detail. I wanted to contribute and be IN the moment without the stress of planning the next. I know that we don’t have to do everything on our own. Yet, I had worn the – I can do it myself, as a badge of honor. I am tired.

Thus, the partnership with Hannah to jointly, well – Hannah is doing 95% of this, to co-create an experience that highlights these core values: Beauty, Connection, Adventure and Impact.
